July 11-July 15 (Full day 9:00AM-3:30PM)
This promises to be really thrilling for your kids who are interested in music, audio, and electronics. During this camp week, kids will learn basic electronic componentry, how to create their own circuits, and how to create a fantastic custom case for their chosen project. Our instructor for this camp session is a veteran teacher with several years of teaching experience at great places like Beam Camp in Brooklyn among others. This is a professional PCB (printed circuit board) designer and she’ll bring her own electronics kits designed especially for young engineers-in-the-making. Campers will learn about breadboarding, circuit design, electronic components, and the fundamentals of designing PCBs. And they’ll start with the fundamentals of design — drawing and gaining understanding of the physical nature of circuit design — with explorations in engineering and aesthetics. Guest professional PCB designers and Electrical Engineers will talk about what they do day to day, and help kids get inspired by showing projects they worked on. The guests presenters will be truly remarkable — they’ve worked on everything from hearing aids to the first Mars Rover. Note**This camp is a 1 Week session**.
