June 27-July 8  (Full day 9AM-3:30PM)

We’ve put together an exceptional opportunity for kids to create animation using an awesome combination of traditional stop-motion animation as well as modern processes like 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital image scanning . Campers will use both traditional (stop-motion) and new digital techniques to create their own animated story using all of the resources here at JC Fab Lab. The kids will use 3D printing, laser cutting & engraving, and other basic familiar tools & materials (cardboard, acrylic paint, and more). Kids will start with story and character development, move into storyboarding. Then the big fun of creating scale model sets and, of course, their characters and other moving elements. This is a great opportunity for kids to open up their imaginations and create something amazing. There will be outdoor time during this camp — both free and organized play.  Note**This camp is a 2 Week session, and there’s no camp on Mon, July 4th**.
