Come out to JC Fab Lab and make some noise… and some music too.
SuperBird Drum Synth by Towhee Co. and ThinkingHz v1.3. Loud!
We’ll be demo’ing our latest rev of our “SuperBird” Analog Modular Drum Synthesizer. Circuit engineering by Mark Kleback of ThinkingHz and former Death By Audio founder. The SuperBird is a collaboration between Towhee Co and ThinkingHz. This new rev (version 1.3) is a true screamer. Runs strong and clean with great pitch range. 100% self-contained, and ready to make spectacular squawks all by itself. But once freed from it’s cage (just plug into any guitar or vocal amp) and you have a professional stage-ready piece of electronic wonder.
We’ll be taking orders for the first exclusive run of 50 units. And because this is JC Fab Lab, you can buy this beauty in a kit, or fully assembled.
As usual, this is a great welcoming time to introduce yourself to JC Fab Lab and to meet Lab members. At OpenShop you pretty much pay just for materials and you can make things.
And while you’re not running the SuperBird through its paces, you can find a designer or engineer or architect to collaborate with on a future project. Get an idea into a drawing and meet like-minded folks who make all kinds of things — our members create custom audio electronics, electric guitars, fine furniture, jewelry, solar-powered cars, custom leather & wood wallets, and home goods.
