July 25-Aug 4  (Full day 9:00AM-3:30PM)

Campers will create their own mini-product line based on their own interests and exploration of clothing and accessories. We’re expecting great things to come from the amazing open minds of the campers for this 2 week experience of a lifetime. We’ll bring in guest presenters from the New York and LA design and fashion world — kids will hear real-world voices on the cutting edge of design and will get feedback & assistance from them so they can “make it work”. Campers will learn the sketch-to-design sample process that real-world designers use. They’ll get primers on screen printing, laser-cutting and engraving for leather & fabrics. Advanced campers (or those who have a penchant for technology) will have the opportunity to integrate electronics to activate their clothing & accessories with functionality — simple light-up circuits, proximity detection, and garments & accessories that “talk and signal” to each other (woah… very cool, right?).
